Kelly Price, 65, of 2329 West Highway 60, Owingsville, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2009 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after an extended illness.
Mr. Price was born April 20, 1944 in Morgan County the son of the late Rutherford B. Hayes Price and Lennie Smith Price. He was a former mechanic and the widower of the late Alma Pergrem Price.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Regina Caldwell and Donna Reynolds both of Owingsville, 2 sons, Jimmy Price and Phillip Price both of Owingsville, 2 sisters, Elsie Faye Price of Lima, OH and Sue Moore of Morgan Co., 3 brothers, George Price of Greenup Co., Keith Price of Lawrence Co. and Drexel Price of Morgan Co., 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday September 25 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Jim Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Purvis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Thursday.
