Lloyd Vernon Maxson

          Mr. Lloyd Maxson, 105, of Plymouth, IN, formerly of Olympia, KY, passed away Sunday morning November 10, 2024 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver, IN.

          Born November 9, 1919 at LaPaz, IN, he was a son of the late Vern and Laura Morris Maxson. He was a retired diesel mechanic.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Lawrence “Bud” Maxson, a daughter: Laura Lucille Dever and a granddaughter: Teresa Fultz.

          Survivors include his wife of 81 years, Clara Sherland Maxson, a daughter: Doris Grashorn and her husband Steve of Plymouth, IN, 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be conducted Thursday November 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at City Of Refuge Church at Olympia, KY with Pastor Mike Munday officiating. Burial will follow in Oldfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church.
