Louise Maze Pergrem, 89, of 2886 South Highway 211, Salt Lick, passed away Thursday November 26, 2009 in Spartanburg, SC after an extended illness.
Mrs. Pergrem was born November 20, 1920 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Richie and Mae Staton Maze. She was the widow of the late Woodrow Pergrem, was a former elementary school teacher, retired from Kentucky Department Of Social Services and was a member of the Polksville Church Of God.
Survivors include her son, Dwayne Pergrem and his wife Mary of Spartanburg, SC, 2 grandsons, Mark Pergrem of Dallas, Georgia and Christopher Pergrem of Evergreen, Colorado, 2 great-granddaughters, Emi and Chloe Pergrem of Dallas, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Polksville Church Of God with Rev. Willard Johnson and Rev. Todd St. John officiating. Burial will follow in Griggs Cemetery at Olympia. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Sunday November 29 at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick.
