Mrs. Marie Garner, 85, a resident of Elliott Nursing And Rehabilitation in Sandy Hook, KY and formerly of Salt Lick, KY passed away Wednesday June 20, 2012.
Mrs. Garner was born July 29, 1926 and was the widow of the late Brooks Garner who preceded her in death in 1987. She was a former employee of Ridgeway Manor Nursing Home in Owingsville, KY.
Survivors include 3 sons, Michael Wayne Garner (Joeretta), Jerry Ray Garner (Loretta Cole) and Roger Dale Garner (Dana) all of Morehead, KY, 3 daughters, Patricia Judy Maze (Lavern) and Donna Dickerson (Timmy) all of Salt Lick, KY and Linda Sue Garner of Morehead, KY, 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and other relatives, Opal Jennings, Katie Whitton and Denise Copher.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday June 22, 2012 at the funeral home.
