Marvin Dale Wallace

          Marvin Dale Wallace, Sr., 55, of 365 Freestone Road, Morehead, KY, passed away Saturday June 30, 2018 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

          Born July 5, 1962 at Morehead, KY, he was a son of the late Chalmer and Juanita Back Wallace. He was a former employee of Nestle Foods, J.C. Wells Lumber, Harold White Lumber and was a farmer.

          Survivors include 2 sons, Marvin Dale Wallace, Jr., of Jeffersonville, KY and Chalmer Joseph Wallace of Morehead, KY, 1 daughter, Jessie Renee Wallace of Morehead, KY, 3 grandchildren, Blake, Shayla and Justin Wallace, 5 sisters, Ruth Fields of Culver, IN, Wanda Swartz of Olympia, KY, Kathy Livingood of Carlisle, KY, Vernie Fultz of Morehead, KY and Tammy Adams of Morehead, KY, 3 brothers, Virgil Wallace of Morehead, KY, Eddie Wallace of Richmond, KY and Ralph Wallace of Morehead, KY, 2 special nieces who helped care for him during his illness, Leslie Wallace and Janie Wallace. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Jane Wallace, a granddaughter, Amya Jo Wallace, a sister, Loretta Campbell and a brother, Douglas Wallace.

          Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM, at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick. Interment will follow in the Wallace Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday July 2, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home
