Mary Elizabeth Highley Burton, 75, of Flint, Michigan, passed away Friday June 21, 2013 at Heritage Manor Nursing Care Center in Flint, Michigan.
Born April 4, 1938 at Frenchburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Nancy Highley and was a former employee of AC-Delphi Plant Security, K-Mart Security and Kresges.
Survivors include 2 sons, Berl Steven Burton and Darren Jack Burton and his fiancée Kathleen Stone, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Dorothy Mynhier and 3 brothers, Ralph, Elmo and Raleigh Highley.
Funeral services will be Saturday June 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Rev. David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Highley Cemetery at Sudith in Menifee County. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday June 28, 2013 at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick, KY.
