Mary Jo (Everman) Lawson

          Mary Jo Everman Lawson, 78, of Old Sand Road, Salt Lick, KY passed away Saturday April 8, 2023 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center following a brief illness.

          Born at Mount Sterling, KY September 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Alene Sexton Everman. She attended the Polksville Church Of God.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Kenneth “Kenny” Lawson in 2015.

          Survivors include a son: Cecil Lawson (Lori McAlister) of Salt Lick, KY and a brother: Don Everman (Bonnie) of Georgetown, KY and a nephew: Rodney Everman.

          A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening April 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.

The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the memorial service.
