Mary (McIntyre) Smith

          Mary Ellen Smith, 72, of 1757 South Highway 211, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Wednesday March 12, 2025 at UK-St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY.

          Born July 26, 1952 at Grove Hill, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late William Jefferson McIntyre and the late Mary Marjorie Culpepper McIntyre. She was an employee of Walmart.

          Survivors include her husband, Frank Smith, a daughter: Geneane Smith of Salt Lick, KY, a son: William Smith of Preston, KY, a sister: Patricia Wright of Grant, MI and 6 grandchildren.

          A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Saturday March 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, with visitation from 12:00 PM until service time.
