Michael Miller Purvis, 55, of Salt Lick, passed away Monday November 2, 2009 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Purvis, 1 daughter, Michelle Brown of Owingsville, 1 grandson, Michael Edward Brown, 2 sisters, Carolyn Stiddom of Owingsville and Inita Purvis of Salt Lick and 1 brother, Timmy Purvis of Frenchburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alta Purvis and a sister, Clara Louise Purvis.
Grave-side funeral services will be held Thursday November 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Hedrick Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Stump and Bro. Willard Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Thursday at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick.
