Michael Risner Obituary

          Michael Todd Risner, 53, of 10287 Hope-Means Rd., Means, KY, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

          Born July 1, 1967 at Mount Sterling, KY a son of Carolyn Sue Walters Risner of Mount Sterling, KY and the late Delmar “Bud” Risner. He was self employed as a transporter for the Amish community and attended the Hope First Church Of God. He was a para-motor pilot and was a member of the “Flight Junkies”.

          Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife, Marsha Brewer Risner, 5 daughters, Olivia Gronlund (D.L.) of Owingsville, KY, Ashley Risner (Allen Jamison) of Manchester, OH, Samantha Smith of Means, KY, Candace Smith of Proctorville, OH and Abby Smith of Means, KY, 5 sons, Kelsie Risner (Tarya) of Mount Sterling, KY, Richard Risner of Mount Sterling, KY, Cody Smith (Amanda) of South Point, OH, Gary Smith of Huntington, WV and Levi Smith of Means, KY, 1 sister, Angela Toy (Robbie) of Mount Sterling, KY, 2 brothers, Dwayne Williams (Rachel) of Mount Sterling, KY and Gregory Risner (Sharon) of Mount Sterling, KY, 6 grandchildren and his special companions “Moose” and “Khalessi”.

          In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant grandchild.

          Visitation will be Saturday April 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Hope First Church Of God, 10246 Hope-Means Road, Means, KY 40346. A Celebration Of Life service will be held July 3, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Stoney Cove Recreational Area on Cave Run Lake in Bath County.
