Milford W. Johnson, 77, of Salt Lick, passed away Friday January 29, 2010 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville after an extended illness.
Born August 9, 1932 in Bath County, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Fanny McClain Johnson.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Teresa Johnson of Morehead, Charlene Johnson, Sheila Nealis and Angela Johnson all of Mt. Sterling, 1 son, Walter Johnson, 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 children, Carl Wayne and Mary Anita Johnson and 2 brothers, Arnold and Bobby Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. John Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Norris Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday February 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
