Norman Owens

          Norman Carl Owens, 78, of 110 Slate Lick Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Saturday May 4, 2019 at his residence.

          Born May 20, 1940 at Kenmore, NY the son of the late Ezra and Amba Burnett Owens, he was a retired Tech. Sgt. in the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.

          Survivors include 2 daughters, Cheri Nichols and Teresa Owens and 1 son, Denis Owens, all of California, 1 sister, Alberta Maze of Salt Lick, KY and 4 grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Dennison officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 8, 2019 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, 100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Grayson, KY 41143.
