Pamela Wills Winstead Jones, 59, of Carlisle and formerly of Bath County, passed away Saturday May 30, 2009 at Johnson-Mathers Health Care in Carlisle after an extended illness.
Born July 21, 1949 in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Margaret Christine Hunt Wills. She was a former insurance agent for Liberty Life Insurance Co. and attended the Northside Church Of God in Owingsville.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Wendy Anderson of Owingsville and Jane Smith of Salt Lick, 2 sons, Charles Day and Chris Becraft both of Salt Lick, 2 sisters, Marsha Montgomery of St. Charles, Illinois and Shelly Richmond of Ripley, Ohio, 4 brothers, Eber D. Wills of Tombstone, Arizona, Robin Wills of Westville, Indiana, Joe Wills of LaCrosse, Indiana and Terry J. Wills of Union Mills, Indiana, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Jim Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in the Wills Cemetery at Salt Lick. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 6 – 9 PM Monday June 1, 2009.
