Patrick Cartwright

          Patrick Norman Cartwright, 25, of Morehead, KY, passed away Monday April 6, 2020.

          Born at Carlsbad, NM on February 6, 1995 he was the son of Suzanne Illingworth of Carlsbad, NM and the late Jerry Cartwright.

          Surviving, in addition to his mother is his step-mother, Terri Laman of Carlsbad, NM, his brothers, Matthew Cartwright and wife Tiffany, Terry L. Cartwright and wife Cassie and Justin L. Cartwright and wife. Also surviving are many special friends, including Shannon Hardin and her husband Caliem and Chloe Curbello.

          Patrick was employed at Morehead Wood Products stave mill. He enjoyed hiking, spending time at the lake and most outside activities. He also enjoyed old cars, music, playing video games, children, animals and his job at the stave mill. He had a very big heart, a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed greatly.

          In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Cartwright-Mull in 2009.

          A memorial service will be held for Patrick at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.
