Phyllis Jean Poston Reynolds, 75, of 162 Reynolds Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2012 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Mrs. Reynolds was born December 22, 1936 at Salt Lick, KY, the daughter of the late Ernest and Olive Sorrell Poston. She was the widow of the late Ova James Reynolds and was an employee of Erma's in Owingsville and was a member of the Midland First Church Of God.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Calvin Reynolds.
Survivors include 2 sons, James Reynolds and his wife Lena and David Reynolds and his wife Brenda, all of Salt Lick, 3 sisters, Edna Mae Crouch and her husband Rob, Joyce Jent and her husband Riley and Wilma Butler, all of Salt Lick, 1 brother, Estill Poston and his wife Mada of Salt Lick, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday November 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Midland First Church Of God with Rev. Bush Stevenson and Rev. Guy McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at the Midland First Church Of God. Powell Funeral Home is caring for arrangements.
