Ralph Wallace

          Ralph E. Wallace, 64, passed away Thursday December 12, 2024 at UK- St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY.

          Born June 9, 1960 at Morehead, KY he was a son of the late Chalmer and Juanita Back Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Campbell and 3 brothers, Virgil Wallace, Marvin Wallace and Douglas Wallace.

          Survivors include a son, Tony Spoonmore of Missouri, 6 siblings: Eddie Wallace and his wife Anita of Richmond, KY, Ruth Fields of Culver, IN, Wanda Swartz and her husband Cary of Owingsville, KY, Kathy Livingood and her husband Timothy of Carlisle, KY, Tammy Adams of Salt Lick, KY and Vernie Fultz of Morehead, KY.

          Ralph shared a close bond with Tammy and Vernie, with whom he had lived with since their mother’s passing. He enjoyed a close relationship Vernie’s children and a special bond with his niece, Lakeisha Wallace, whom he thought of as his own child. He was a farmer, worked in rebar and had worked for Swartz’s Mowing. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing the lottery and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed a close relationship with the guys he went through Revive with and several close friends in the community.

          Funeral services will be conducted Monday December 16, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY, with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. The family will receive friends for visiting from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at 3:00 PM.

          In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the funeral home, to assist with expenses.
