Rebecca Lynam Maze, 79, of 987 South Hwy. 211, Salt Lick, passed away Wednesday September 16, 2009 at St. Claire Regional Medical in Morehead.
Mrs. Maze was born in Bath County February 27, 1930 the daughter of the late John and Mary Ellis Lynam.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Mable Sue Denton (Truman) of Preston, Linda Lou Crouch (Willis) of Salt Lick, Peggy Faye Byrd of Frenchburg and Teresa Bashford (Jeff) of Salt Lick, 4 sons, Randall Earl Maze of Salt Lick, Ricky Nelson Maze (Laura) of Owingsville, Charles Allen Maze (Rachel) of Owingsville and Ronald Dale Maze (Stephanie) of Salt Lick, daughter-in-law, Cynthia Lynam of Salt Lick, 2 brothers, Paul Lynam of North Carolina and Harry Lynam of Owingsville, 32 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Mary Louise Goldie, 3 sons, Allen J. Lynam, David Lewis Maze and Billy Gene Maze, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday September 18, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the Maze-Lynam Cemetery at Bethel. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 P.M. Thursday.
