Rickie Lee Slone, 51, of 518 Quisenberry Rd., Morehead, passed away Friday August 21, 2009 at Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg.
Mr. Slone was born in Rowan County on October 3, 1957, the son of Vercil Slone of Morehead and the late Lorelee Brown Slone and was employed as a mechanic.
Surviving in addition to his father, is his wife Jennifer Ward Slone, 1 son Charles David Slone of Morehead, 5 sisters, Brenda Jean Hunt, Colleen Kidd (Edward), Vicky Ann Kidd (Alvin), Sharon Kay Trent (Gary) and Threse Lynn Williams (Forrest), 4 brothers, Ronnie David Slone (Kay), Donnie Dale Sloan, Mickey Edward Sloan (Carol) and Michael Dean Sloan, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday August 25 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Ray Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Family Cemetery in Salt Lick. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Monday at the funeral home.
