Robert A. Ferguson

          Robert Aubrey Ferguson, Sr., 80, of 984 Fraley Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday March 7, 2019 at his residence.

          Born October 6, 1938 at Salt Lick, KY the son of the late Everett Ferguson and the late Anna Moore and was a United States Army Veteran.

          Survivors include 2 sons, Robert A. Ferguson, Jr. and wife Salena of Salt Lick, KY and James E. Ferguson of Owingsville, KY, 2 daughters, Bobbie A. Ferguson of Salt Lick, KY and Tina M. Ferguson of Owingsville, KY, 1 brother, John Copher and wife Wanda of Salt Lick, KY, 2 sisters, Sandy Hardin and husband Frank and Peggy McCarty all of Salt Lick, KY, 10 grandchildren, Scottie McNabb, Cody Ferguson, Josh McIntosh, Shannon McIntosh, Lena McIntosh, Brittany Caldwell, Harlie Carter, Kourtney Ferguson, Robert A. Ferguson, III and Shaya Ferguson, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kevin Shawn Ferguson and Marvin Wade Ferguson, 1 grandson, Robert Wade Ferguson, 1 granddaughter, Hanna Gail Ferguson, 1 sister, Janet Copher and 2 brothers, James Ferguson and Bill Moore.

          Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 11, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Family Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by Morehead American Legion Post #126. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

          Serving as pallbearers, Cody Ferguson, Josh McIntosh, Scotty McNabb, Taylor Davidson, Sammy Davidson, Jeff Caldwell and Rabbit Maze.
