Robert Clay Hunt, 49, of 1993 Mudlick Road, Salt Lick, passed away Sunday August 23 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born September 25, 1959, he was the son of Lawrence and Gladys Powers Hunt of Salt Lick.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Brenda Reed Hunt, 1 son, Johnny Clay Hunt of Salt Lick, 3 sisters, Retha Ison of Owingsville, Linda Hardin and husband Joe of Salt Lick and Lois Cline and husband Robin of Salt Lick, 3 brothers, Rocky Hunt and wife Pam, Darrell Hunt and wife Bonnie and David Hunt and wife Ginny, all of Salt Lick and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceding him in death was a brother, Matt Hunt in 1990.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday August 26 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Charles Easterday officiating. Burial will follow in Hunt Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Tuesday.
