Robert J Hunt

          Robert J. “Bob” Hunt, 74, of Owingsville, KY, passed away Tuesday April 19, 2022 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY.

          Bob was born January 10, 1948 in Bath County a son of the late Roy and Mertie Becraft Hunt. He was a retired employee of the Bath County Road Department.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Clay Hunt.

          Survivors include his wife, Brenda Black Hunt, 7 children, Brian Black of Owingsville, KY, Ronnie Dale Maze of Salt Lick, KY, Crystal Dougherty of Florida, Kathy Donathan of Morehead, KY, Danny Brown (Rosanna) of Manchester, OH, Angel Rogers (Billy) of Owingsville, KY, and Danielle Craig of Owingsville, KY. 2 sisters, Mary Ann Hardin (Roger) and Darlene Purvis, both of Salt Lick, KY, 2 brothers, Bennie Hunt and Billy Joe Hunt (Kim), both of Salt Lick, KY, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

          Services will be conducted Saturday April 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Hunt officiating. Visitation will be Saturday April 23, 2022 from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Johnson Black Cemetery, Morehead, KY.
