Roger Morgan Maze, 72, of 2615 East Highway 60, Owingsville, KY, passed away Sunday November 25, 2012.
Born September 8, 1940 in Bath County he was the son of the late Arthur and Christine Hargis Maze. He was a graduate of Morehead State University and was a retired realtor and auctioneer with Maze Auction Company and was a 50 year member of the Kentucky Real Estate Association and he was co-founder and former owner of Hilltop Nursing Home in Owingsville.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Marilyn K. Swartz and her husband Carroll of Louisville and Melinda Staton and her husband Bobby of Owingsville, 1 brother, Jerry Maze and his wife Brenda of Owingsville, sister in law, Donna Gail Maze of Owingsville, several nieces and nephews, special caregivers Martha Martin, Marietta Wells and Randall Maze and special friend Dorothy Raley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas C. Maze.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday November 29 at 2:00 PM at the Polksville Church Of God with Rev. Lowell Rice and Rev. Ralph White officiating. Interment will follow at Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday November 28 at the Polksville Church Of God. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Polksville Church Of God. Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick will be caring for arrangements.
