Ruby Cassity

          Ruby Cassity, 78, of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday evening at Life Care Center of Morehead, KY.

          Born March 22, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Howard Conley and the late Nora Beasley Gilliam. She was a former employee of Cave Run Frosty Freeze and was of the Church Of God faith.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Beasley and Wilbur Beasley, sisters, Juanita Williams, Charlotte Whaley, Judy McKenzie and Audrey Snedegar and 2 granddaughters, Stephanie Hackworth and Ashley Ratliff.

          Survivors include her husband, Jack “Butch” Cassity, Jr., 2 daughters, Sandy Rhoton (Gerald Spratt) of Owingsville, KY and Tammy Hackworth (Steve) of Arkanum, OH, 2 sons, Timmy Ratliff (Mindy) of Owingsville, KY and Tony Ratliff (Ericka) of Salt Lick, KY, 7 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a special friend Verna Lee Reynolds.

          Private family visitation and graveside services will be conducted Monday September 27, 2021. Interment will be in Dickerson Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY. Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY is caring for arrangements.
