Russell Gene Roberson, 78, of 10009 East Highway 60, Olympia, KY, passed away Thursday August 14, 2014 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.
Born January 25, 1936 in Bath County, KY the son of the late Berlie and Amanda Sparks Roberson and was a retired employee of Ontario Systems in Muncie, IN.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Crouch Roberson, 1 daughter, Peggy (Terry) Perry of Salt Lick, KY, 2 sons, Russell (Debbie) Roberson of Frenchburg, KY and Clifton (Cindy) Roberson of Olympia, KY, 2 sisters, Brenda Sue Martin and Deloris Shrout, 1 brother, Glendale Roberson, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Roberson, a granddaughter, Tina Roberson Watkins, 2 sisters, Linda Roberson and Ethel May Hayes and 3 brothers, Vernon, Clayton and Kenneth Roberson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday August 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Mudlick First Church Of God with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday August 15, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the church.
