Sarah Ethel Conn Basford, 83, of 433 Heritage Place, Morehead, KY passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Morehead.
Born July 16, 1927 in Bath County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Martha Melinda Flannery Conn and was the widow of the late Will Henry Basford. She was a former employee of the Morehead News and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Beverly Warren Humpheries, Linda Kay Warren and Barbara Davis and her husband Bruce, all of Morehead, 1 son, Orville Eugene Basford and his wife Mattie of Anderson, South Carolina, 1 brother, Sidney Conn of Hobart, IN, 9 grandchildren, Marty Warren and wife Brenda, Kim Sanders and husband James, Erica Price and husband Andy, Scott Warren and wife Bridgett, Rhonda Ledford and husband Darrell, Stephanie Dixon and husband Tom, Billy Basford and wife Rachel, Alicia McClain and husband Bobby and Dustin Davis and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday November 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 PM Friday November 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
