Sarah Elizabeth Jones Ferguson, 51, of 14 Willow Street, Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Friday January 14, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital-Mt. Sterling.
Born October 8, 1959 at Jackson, MS, she was the daughter of the late Dewtie and Willie Lynn Prestage Jones. She was a homemaker and attended the Pomroyalton Union Church.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Ferguson, 3 daughters, Lisa Zimmerman of Hartford, IN, Stacy Saintignon of Texas and Jessica Ferguson of Mt. Sterling, KY, 4 sons, Eric Ferguson, Jason Ferguson and Lee Saintignon all of Muncie, IN and Dalton Ferguson of Mt. Sterling, KY, 4 Sisters, Faye Parker and Carolyn Jones both of Pearl, MS, Kathy Wallace of Texas and Nellie Sullivan of Murfreesboro, TN, 5 brothers, Billy Jones of Texas, James Jones and Charles Jones both of Pearl, MS, Nolan Jones of Morton, MS and Jessie Jones of Forrest, MS. Also surviving are several grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Tuesday January 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick with Pastor Terry Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Grassy Creek Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
