Shirley (Parsons) Keister

          Mrs. Shirley Parsons Keister, 83, widow of the late Harold David Keister (2015), of Center Fire Lane, Salt Lick, KY, passed away early Saturday morning, April 25, 2026 at her residence surrounded by family.

          Shirley was born March 3, 1943 at Taylor County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Owen and Sarah Jane Cox Parsons. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church, Salt Lick, KY.

          In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William “Dan” Parsons.

          Survivors include her daughter: Catherine Greene and her husband Roger of Salt Lick, KY, a son: William “Billy” Warren and his wife Deleah of Morehead, KY, a sister: Norma Parsons Mink, 4 grandchildren: Michael and his wife Lesley, Brittany, Amanda and Kourtnay, 7 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Mikalea, Makenzie, Landon, Zackary, Owen and Beckett. Also surviving is a special friend: Shonna Jimison.

          At Shirley’s request, there will be no services.
