Tommy Watkins, 82, of 422 Main Street, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Friday December 7, 2012.
Born February 11, 1930 in Morgan Co., KY, he was the son of the late Shelby and Laura Barnette Watkins. He was a retired merchant.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Razor Watkins, a daughter, Marla Lewis and her husband Rick of Owingsville, KY, 2 sisters, Edna Oney of Middletown, OH and Lettie Baker of Fair Oaks, CA, 1 brother, Omer Watkins of Olive Hill, KY, 2 grandchildren and special friends, Lottie Brown and Corky White.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 infant sons, Jeffrey and Robert Watkins.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday December 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in the Watkins Family Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
