Tyler Shayne Helton

          Tyler Shayne Helton, 23, of McCarty Branch Road, Olympia, KY, son of David and Veronica Helton, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2024.

          Born July 20, 2000, he was self employed with Better Built Construction.

          Survivors include his parents, David and Veronica Helton of Olympia, KY, a brother, Kendrick Helton, a sister, Kayla Helton Moore and her husband Jacob of Owingsville, KY their children Kenleigh and Walker and another on the way. Maternal Grandmother: Ruth Mullins of Owingsville, KY, aunts and uncles: Joe Staton (Bridgitte), Eric Helton (Kristine), Lisa Helton, Amber Helton, Keisha Helton (Chris) and Brian Bragg (Connie), several cousins, great aunts and uncles. Also surviving is a special friend, Kenneth Hunt of Salt Lick, KY.

          Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Randy and Brenda Helton, maternal grandfather, Larry Staton, an uncle Danny Staton and a cousin, D.J. Helton.

          A memorial service will be conducted Saturday May 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
