Walter Powell

          Walter Calvin Powell, 75, of Salt Lick, KY, passed away Thursday morning December 25, 2025 at Life Care Center of Morehead, KY.

          Born August 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Minor Calvin, Jr. and Barbara Perry Powell.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

          Survivors include an uncle, Billy Perry of Middletown, OH, 2 aunts: Marcella Rose of Frenchburg, KY and Illene Powell of Salt Lick, KY. Also surviving are several cousins.

          In keeping with Walter’s wishes, he will be cremated and interred with his parents at Dickerson Cemetery, Salt Lick, KY. There will be no services.
