Wesley Allen McCarty, 69, of West Liberty, KY, formerly of Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born February 17, 1945 at Salt Lick, KY, he was the son of the late Arthur and Doris Townsend McCarty and was a retired mechanic and carpenter.
Survivors include his wife Charlene Kelly McCarty, 1 daughter, Lucinda Copeland of Finley, OH, 5 sons, Danny Walker of Finley, OH, Brian Walker of Finley, OH, Wesley Allen McCarty, Jr. (Little Wes) of Finley, OH, Michael Kelly of West Liberty, KY and Wesley Allen McCarty, Jr. (Baby Wes) of West Liberty, KY, 5 sisters, Polly Cline of Preston, KY, Kathy Stegall of Morehead, KY, Betty Stewart of Flemingsburg, KY, Glenna Crouch of Richmond, KY and Dorothy Stegall of Morehead, KY, 3 brothers, Johnny McCarty of Salt Lick, KY, Charlie McCarty of Lexington, KY and Billy McCarty of Owingsville, KY, 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin sons, a twin brother, Wayne Arthur McCarty, a brother Jackie Corval Clay McCarty and 2 sisters, Rebecca Diana Baze and Sheila McCarty.
Visitation will be Thursday January 22, 2015 at Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with cremation following. There will be no public service.
