My thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God are with Retta's family and friends through this time. I have so many good memories of Retta and Wheeler and have great hope and assurance that they are together today. With Retta's passing, another one of the greatest generation has departed from us, but, she leaves a legacy that will remain far beyond her years on earth. Her life mattered, she made a difference and she will be missed. I pray for God's comfort and peace to be upon all of the family and those of us who loved her and will miss her so much.

Retta was such a sweet Christian lady. I have many fond memories of her from my childhood and time spent at Salt Lick Christian Church. I still have the cookbook she gave me many years ago. God bless your family always.

Vicki and Karen so sorry to hear of your moms passing. My mom (Marcella) has told me the story of how she had her first Ruth Hunt Cream candy several times that story being when I was born your mom brought her a box.
