I am so saddened to hear of Tater's passing. He and I used to play together as boys, growing up in Salt Lick. It seems like it was only yesterday that we were running around, through the hills, and going back and forth to each other's houses. I just really hate to hear of this situation with his death. My heart goes out to Kaye and his entire family. I wish there was something I could say or do to help them in this time of loss.

Just seems like yesterday we were Lil kids growing up in Salt Lick, I hated hearing about this, it's so sad, cause years later we ended up being neighbors in Frenchburg after all them years, prayers to all of the family, may he rest in peace

My thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God are with the Kevin Joe Helton Family through this time. I have been a pastor in Bath County for nearly forty years and have seen so many young people die. Presently, on our church bulletin board are pictures of twenty-seven people who have passed away and who are younger than I am. One of those is my daughter, Sarah. Life is a special gift, and yet, it can be so easily taken away. I am praying for all of you who are grieving Kevin's passing today and from the number who have signed the guest registry, it is obvious that he was loved by many people. May the Lord bring comfort and peace to you and healing from the wounds of death. I, and many others, are uplifting you today.
